new
programme of events.... |

 |
 |
|
|
We've enjoyed working with our
Fire Service colleagues for many years and, though we say it ourselves,
we've received very good
feedback on the training events that we run. However, rather than
rest on our laurels and churn out the same events all over again, we have
decided to totally revamp and update our programme for 2010.
We hope
you like it.

All our training events are
relaxed, informal and interactive. We hope you will join in and say
what you think! |
As regionalisation hits Control

Level 4 Management Development
Programme
This will consist of a series of 9 one day
workshops. If participants attend each of the workshops and also
complete workplace assignments it will result in them achieving level 4
Management and Leadership NVQ.
Here is an overview of the workshops, the
detail will be designed to suit the individual participants:
-
Introduction to the Award and planning to
achieve it (including cross mapping to rolemaps)
-
Your role and responsibilities - including
innovative 'business development planning' linked to a realistic
assessment of people and financial resources
-
A close look at leadership, what is it and
have we got it - how can we enhance our skills and build productive
working relationships
-
Managing people, motivation, discipline
and team building
-
Health and safety and our role in this
-
Dealing with 'change' and understanding
the impact on our people
-
Customer service - what this means in the
Fire Service environment, identifying ways to improve standards and
raise the profile of our team/department
-
Personal and professional development
-
Mop up workshop - finalising our
qualifications and celebrating success!
Assessors will be in
attendance on each of the workshops to provide one to one guidance and
support.
It will be necessary for
assessors to visit delegates at their place of work on at least one
occasion.
This programme can be run
in-house for groups of up to ten managers, and will be cross-mapped to
individual rolemaps. |
